Treatment on Treatments

Hey guys,… Jenni Woz coming at you with a treatment regimen to bring your hair and scalp back to a happy, balanced state. The other day, I was working on a client, and she asked, “how do all of you have such healthy moisturized hair?!” It’s no secret that the Patricia Perry Crew has mastered a minimalist mindset when it comes to our own hair maintenance. One secret I can spill is that we’ve figured out (through much trial and error) if we add a treatment regiment 1-2 times a month, our hair is much easier to manage on the day-to-day. Yaaaaay…quicker weekday hair! I’ve put together a 4-step process using our favorite Innersense products. These babies have been working wonders on The PP babes, but feel free to cherry pick the product(s) that suit your needs. (If you’re doing the full monty, I recommend doing it on a day off so  you have the time to get into it–Heck! maybe even light a candle and put on some nice music). Here we go! 

 

STEP ONE

Harmonic Healing Oil– About an hour before you want to start your treatment, take 1-2 pumps of oil into your fingertips and massage into scalp. If you have time, give yourself a rad scalp massage. If not, work it in until the oil is evenly distributed. Let it sit for an hour. Hasta la vista dry scalp!

 

Pro Tip: The Harmonic Healing Oil contains Tamanu Oil which has significant topical healing properties, so it works wonders for many skin conditions, such as eczema and psoriasis.

STEP two

True Enlightenment Scalp Scrub
You’re gonna wanna jump into the shower for this portion of the show. Start out by thoroughly wetting your hair. Scoop a quarter size amount of product into fingertips and massage into scalp. Rinse thoroughly and shampoo-out with your favorite Innersense shampoo. Be prepared; this stuff packs a pepperminty punch and is quite cooling on the scalp.
 
Pro Tip: True Enlightenment Scalp Scrub  contains Volcanic Clay. The clay helps draw out oils and impurities which can buy you an extra day or two between wash cycles. This lil’ tidbit, of course, makes it an MVP at the Double P’s because we are always trying to find new ways to extend our/your cleanse cycles.

STEP THREE

Detox Hair Mask
Apply to wet hair, work root to ends. Leave on for 3-5 minutes and rinse thoroughly. 
 
Pro Tip:  Buildup is public enemy number one for healthy moisturized hair. Buildup coats the hair , preventing all the yummy ingredients/nutrients from penetrating your hair shaft. The Detox Hair Mask contains charcoal which is a gentle detoxifier that helps draw out dirt and toxins, leaving your hair open and ready to adsorb conditioner. 

STEP FOUR

HYDRATING HAIR MASK 
Apply from mid-lengths to ends of hair. Leave on for 5-10 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Got braiding skills? For deeper results, leave the conditioner in your hair and braid. Rinse out at you next shower. For those of you with medium-to-tight curl or dehydrated hair, it may be necessary to apply your daily conditioner before applying you favorite Innersense stylers.
 
Pro Tip:  Secret number three (wow you guys are getting all the goods today!) is why Innersense is superior to other hair products…it’s all about their ingredient deck.
